
Hogwarts Legacy launches in holiday 2022 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Access cosmetics in the Gear Menu by placing the cursor over gear of the same type and selecting the Change Appearance option.

New mounts are accessible in the Gear Menu after the default Hippogriff is unlocked in the main questline. As always, things like this could change in the run-up to release, so take this information with a pinch of salt until we get official confirmation. As for the 72-hour early access, this will be for those Harry Potter superfans who pre-order the game, though it's unclear if this will just be reserved again for the Deluxe Edition. Currently, the only we know of is to either purchase the collector’s or deluxe editions of the game. Fans and u/opalelement speculate that the Steel Case (possibly a Steelbook case) and Floating Ancient Magic Wand with Book will be physical items as opposed to in-game items. What's interesting here is that developer Avalanche has previously stated there are no in-game purchases or micro-transactions in Hogwarts Legacy, so if the developer is sticking to that then the Thestral Mount, Dark Arts Cosmetic Pack, Dark Arts Battle Arena, Dark Arts Garrison Hat, and Kelpie Robe will have to be pre-order bonuses or extra content included with the Digital Deluxe Only edition. Unfortunately, we don't have any information on what these items might be, and the leak also doesn't mention which items will be included with the 'Digital Only' and 'Digital Deluxe Only' editions.
